How can we help?

Our US team builds every Novatech and supports it for as long as you own it, wherever you bought it.

Set up your new PC

Five steps from the box to your first game.

  1. Unbox it

Lift the PC out with both hands. Take out the foam behind the glass gently, so no cables get pulled toward a fan.

  2. Most common fix

    Plug into the graphics card

Connect your monitor to the HDMI or DisplayPort ports on the graphics card, lower on the back. Vega uses the motherboard ports.

  3. Power on

Plug in the power cable, set the switch on the power supply to I, and press the power button.

  4. Finish Windows setup

Windows 11 Pro is already installed. Follow the setup screens. If your PC came with a USB Wi-Fi adapter, plug it into a blue USB port.

  5. Update and play

Run Windows Update, update your graphics driver, and set your monitor's refresh rate in Display settings.

No picture on my monitorNo signal, a black screen, or the monitor goes to sleep.

Usually the monitor is plugged into the wrong port, or something came loose in shipping.

  1. Use the graphics card ports
Plug your monitor into an HDMI or DisplayPort port on the graphics card, the row lower on the back of the PC. The ports near the top usually won't show a picture. Vega models are the exception and use the top ports.
  2. Check your cables and input
Push the monitor cable in firmly at both ends and make sure the power cable is snug. Then set your monitor's input to the port you're using, like HDMI 1 or DisplayPort.
  3. Look for signs of power
Check that the fans spin and your keyboard and mouse light up. If nothing powers on at all, follow the guide for a PC that won't turn on.
  4. Reseat the graphics card
Shut down, switch off the power supply and unplug the PC. Remove the glass side panel, then press the graphics card firmly toward the motherboard until it's fully seated. Make sure its power cable is pushed all the way in too.
  5. Try again
Put the panel back, connect your monitor to the graphics card and turn the PC on.
Back of your PCPlug your monitor into the graphics card ports, lit up here. The ports marked with an X won't show a picture.

Still no picture?

Your PC was most likely damaged in shipping, so we'll send you a brand-new one at no cost. It comes with a prepaid label to return the old one after the new one arrives. Prefer a refund? Just tell us.

My PC won't turn onNo lights, no fans, nothing happens when you press the button.

Usually it's a switch or a cable. Sometimes a cable inside works loose in shipping.

  1. Flip the power supply switch
Set the switch on the back of the power supply to I (on). It's right next to where the power cable plugs in.
  2. Check the outlet
Push the power cable in firmly at both ends. Plug it into a wall outlet you know works, and skip any power strip that might be switched off.
  3. Press the power button
Press the power button on the case once, then give it a few seconds.
  4. Reseat the power cables inside
Switch off and unplug the PC, then remove the glass side panel. Press firmly on the wide power cable on the right edge of the motherboard and the smaller one in its top-left corner, so both are fully plugged in. Put the panel back and try again.
Back of your PCThe power switch and power cable socket are on the power supply, at the bottom of the back.

Games run slower than expectedLow FPS, stuttering or lag in games.

Start with the monitor cable. It's the most common cause of low FPS.

  2. Update your graphics driver
Install the latest driver with the NVIDIA app or AMD Software.
  3. Set your refresh rate

Plug the adapter into one of the blue USB 3.0 ports on the back. Don't see an adapter? It came in the box with your PC.

    Open speedtest.net
